Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania, and it’s also accessible from Dar es Salaam. It borders Selous Game Reserve and Udzungwa National Park. These three locations make a varied and pleasant safari circuit. In this park, you can see buffalos, zebras, impalas, lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many more.

 

Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1 : Transfer to Mikumi National Park

After morning breakfast drive you to Mikumi village, with a hot lunch en-route. In the evening, you will have an opportunity to experience the famous indigenous tribe known as the Maasai tribe. Experience their traditional activities, including dancing and singing together. You will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 2 : Full-Day Mikumi National Park

Here, you will enjoy the magic, natural attraction of the wildlife and sunset with beautiful scenery. We will enjoy a lunch break in the bush. We return for dinner and overnight to the camp inside the park. The sounds of the animals during the night will soothe your soul.

 

Day 3 : Mikumi National Park - Dar-es-salaam

Wake up early to enjoy the morning game drive. Enjoy the wonderful scenery of the active animals in the morning and the beautiful sunrise. You will head to the camp for breakfast, then prepare for your return journey. This marks the end of your safari.
