Celebrating more than twenty-three (23) years in running Tanzania safaris, Hezron Asunga is one of the country’s oldest and most respected tour guides. Hezron founded Across Tanzania Expeditions in 2006. He grew up in the shadows of African Wildlife, where he cohabited with the wild animals, developing a deep interest in and sincere passion for all living creatures.
We believe, with his extensive knowledge, and experience, combined with our intense love of our country, nature, and its wonderful diversity of animal life, we always give our client’s the best bush experience possible in Tanzania.

Dedicated to excellence in destination management, the team at Across Tanzania Expeditions operates from a headquarters in the heart of Tanzania’s safari capital, Arusha. We also maintain a contact support branch in the United States headed by Susan Mays.
It is at the headquarters in Arusha where all accommodations are secured by the reservation department headed by Stella Makundi. Here, Hezron also heads the transportation department, assigning quality experienced drivers/guides as well as handling the maintenance department that ensures each Land Cruiser undergoes an extensive check before starting out on each safari.
