We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and memorable travel experiences across Tanzania, with transparency and professionalism at every step.

Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be made via email, website, or authorized communication channels.
  • A booking is confirmed only after receiving a deposit payment and sending a written confirmation.
  • Once confirmed, clients will receive a detailed itinerary and booking confirmation.

Payment Policy

  • A deposit (30%) is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 weeks before arrival or in cash upon arrival, as agreed.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or other approved methods.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your trip, the following conditions apply:

  • More than 30 days before arrival – Deposit may be partially refundable (excluding bank charges and service fees)
  • 15–30 days before arrival – 50% of total cost may be charged
  • Less than 15 days before arrival – 100% of the total cost may be charged

Note: Cancellation terms may vary depending on accommodation and service providers.


Changes & Amendments

  • Clients may request changes to their booking (dates, itinerary, accommodation).
  • Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
  • Across Tanzania Expeditions reserves the right to make minor adjustments due to operational needs or unforeseen circumstances.

Pricing & Inclusions

  • All prices are quoted in the agreed currency and based on current rates.
  • Safari packages typically include:
    • Accommodation
    • Meals as specified
    • Professional guide and vehicle
    • Park fees
  • Exclusions (unless stated otherwise):
    • International flights
    • Visa fees
    • Travel insurance
    • Tips and personal expenses

Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is highly recommended for all clients.
  • Insurance should cover:
    • Trip cancellation
    • Medical emergencies
    • Evacuation
    • Personal belongings

Liability

  • Across Tanzania Expeditions acts as a tour operator and organizes services with third-party providers.
  • We are not liable for:
    • Injury, loss, or damage caused by third parties
    • Delays or changes due to weather, road conditions, or force majeure events
  • Clients participate in all activities at their own risk.

Health & Safety

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.
  • It is advised to consult a doctor regarding vaccinations and health requirements before traveling to Tanzania.

Passport, Visa & Entry Requirements

  • Clients must have a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity).
  • Visa requirements are the responsibility of the traveler.
  • Across Tanzania Expeditions can provide guidance if needed.

Luggage Policy

  • Soft bags are recommended for safaris due to limited vehicle space.
  • Weight limits may apply, especially for domestic flights.

Complaints

  • Any complaints should be reported immediately during the trip so we can resolve them promptly.
  • If unresolved, complaints must be submitted in writing after the trip.
